Problem: Your monitor is black when you connect your laptop to a projector or the projector is not displaying what is on your computer screen.
Solution: It could be that you need to press the Fn key + F7 (at the same time). Pressing these keys at the same time toggles between displaying on the computer monitor, the projector, or the computer monitor and projector. This is the most likely problem.
It could also be that you ned to press the input on your projector or check all the cords.
Problem: Icons are displaying really big when you connect to the projector and you can't see the entire width of a website when you project it.
Solution: The resolution of the laptops was probably set to 800 by 600. Here is the fix.
Go into the conrol panel. Click display. Click the settings tab. Change the resolution to 1024 by 768 or something close to that. Click apply.
